Our Story
Welcome to the Empire State Paranormal Society, your premier destination for exploring the mysteries of the otherworld. Formerly known as Phantom Pursuit, our firm was founded in the summer of 2023 in Sheridan, Arkansas, by a passionate team of paranormal enthusiasts: James Cave, Joshua Payne, and his fiancée Breanna Lewis. After a transformative journey that led Joshua and Breanna back to their roots in Canandaigua, New York, we have rebranded and revitalized our mission to delve into the unexplained. Nestled in the historic Finger Lakes region, our team is dedicated to uncovering the secrets that lie beyond the veil of the ordinary.
Meet The Team
Our diverse team of investigators brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Joshua Payne serves as our Lead Investigator and Local History & Paranormal Lore Expert, guiding our explorations with his deep understanding of the area’s haunted past. Alongside him, Cody Ellis, our Researcher in Training and Cameraman, captures every chilling moment on film, while Breanna Lewis, an Audio EVP Expert Analyst, meticulously analyzes the sounds of the supernatural. Rounding out our team are Logan Beverly, a skilled Tour Guide and Expert Navigator, and Leah Sevor, a Local Lore Expert, both of whom enhance our investigations with their unique insights and experiences. Together, we are committed to providing a thorough and engaging exploration of the paranormal landscape.
